Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a good night's sleep in slightly dated rooms that may need some updating. The service, despite being a bit like 'Faulty Towers,' redeems itself with welcoming staff and superb scrambled eggs. The location is fantastic for flat and easy access to town and the sea, though card payment acceptance is a later convenience. The dining experience, though with room for improvement in breakfast, becomes more appetizing over subsequent days. Overall, a mix of dated charm and warm service make for a pleasant stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the room was very clean and comfortable, providing ample space and a fantastic mattress. However, the repeated kicking in of the kitchen fan overnight disturbed my sleep considerably. The bathroom was spotlessly clean which was a definite plus.
The hotel has a vintage charm to it and offers a very comfortable stay with spacious rooms, fantastic mattresses, and spotlessly clean bathrooms. However, the view of the hotel roof is uninspiring. The service is friendly, and the location is ideal for exploring the town of Aberaeron. The dining experience is excellent with a good selection and great service. The facilities are well-maintained and cater to a diverse range of needs.
